Wedding Packages
Packages start at $45 per person dinner plus gratuity of 22%. If you want to dine during regular restaurant hours, in the dining room, and do not require additional services, and do not need private dining room, we may waive the facility fee for 50 persons or less. 
Facility fees for 50 and up range from $1,000 to $4,500.
We cannot accommodate events in July and August on weekends as our restaurant is open to the public and reservations for lodging guests are well in advance. 
Facility fees are $1,500 for the dining room November through April. 
$2,500 September October May and June  
$3,500 July and August  (not including the Terrace)

Weddings at The Terrace Inn

The Terrace and 1911 Restaurant offers 38 guest rooms with private baths, restaurant/dining room that can seat up to 125, main floor lobby with comfortable leather chairs, outdoor dining terrace, outdoor patio, and garden apartment fully furnished with adjacent "gathering room" which is great for prepping for your day!
The dining room is air-conditioned and has 2,000 sq feet with elegant chandeliers, original antiques, gleaming maple floors, and expansive windows overlooking Bay View's park-like setting.  The Dining Room 
Ceremonies can be held inside fall and winter and inside or outside in warmer seasons.  The Terrace is available 11 p.m. to 3 p.m. and has heaters and plexi glass to enjoy in cooler months. Rehearsal Dinner and Receptions can accommodate 25-100
Events must end by 10:45 p.m. Live music must be discussed and approved in advance. Fees include a specific time period to rent the space. Request to use the space earlier (for example, decorating tables, or ceremony rehearsal) need to be arranged with our manager and may incur hourly fees.  As our space is shared with lodging guests, this needs to be taken into account.  Breakfast is served in the dining room between 8 and 10 a.m. so dining room is not accessible during that time and cleaning following. 
The Garden Apartment downstairs beneath the dining room can be rented and may be required to rent for larger groups. This is perfect for getting ready the night before and it has a adjacent space 20 x 40 feet for your use and two bathrooms. Fee is $300. This is negotiable depending on size and scope of your event. 
 This is our only pet friendly accommodation. 
Private use of the Patio from 11 to 3 p.m. during the day is $300. 
Fees include ALL Linens, Table, Chairs, Plates, Glassware, Bartender, Servers,
Set up, professional staff service throughout, oil tea votives. Break down and Clean up.

Wedding Menu

Wedding menus are customized from our current restaurant menu.  Our typical 3 course menu in our Northern Michigan Menu featuring broiled whitefish, chicken schnitzel, Terrace Inn Salad and Creme Brulee for dessert (or chocolate torte, or pie).  Another option may be Beef Tenderloin Medallions and Broiled Whitefish or Surf and Turf Combination Plate. We always have a vegetarian Entree as well.  Choice of 3 entrees is standard and can be plated or buffet style.  Guests that choose to make a wedding cake dessert will have a $45 cutting fee and we will cut and plate and serve the cake.  The prix fixe menu price will be discounted to remove the dessert if you to have your cake as dessert. If you'd like a Chef Carving Station this is $100 and you could choose Roast Beef or Prime Rib (upcharge for Prime Rib). 
One salad choice, two or three Entree choices and dessert choice is required 30 days prior to the event.  (Be sure to include any special diets and or guest allergies if possible.  We are happy to quote you appetizer pricing if you are interested in serving apps prior to dinner or at the end of a reception or if you are planning an appetizer only reception.
